remove_labels

Remove the internal node labels (support values and taxon labels) from a Newick tree, to improve compatibility with tree viewers.

Arguments

usage: gtdbtk remove_labels --input_tree INPUT_TREE --output_tree OUTPUT_TREE
                            [--debug] [-h]

required named arguments

--input_tree: path to the unrooted tree in Newick format
--output_tree: path to output the tree

optional arguments

--debug: create intermediate files for debugging purposes

gtdbtk remove_labels --input_tree gtdbtk.bac120.classify.tree --output_tree no_labels.tree
